Every service your backyard needs.
Custom pool design & construction
Westlake's neighborhoods, from The Oaks to The Pines, are built new construction without a pool included. We design and build every backyard in custom gunite, sized and shaped to the lot Minto handed over.
Pool remodeling & resurfacing
Westlake is one of Palm Beach County's youngest cities, incorporated in 2016, so most backyard pools here are still recent builds. As the earliest projects reach their first years of wear, we handle resurfacing, retiling and equipment upgrades.
Weekly pool maintenance
New pools still need consistent care to stay balanced through Florida's heat and rain. Our weekly service covers cleaning, chemical balancing and equipment checks so your pool is ready every time you walk out the door.
Pool heaters & equipment
Florida winters are mild, but a heater extends the swim season into the cooler months. We install heat pumps, gas heaters and variable-speed pumps on every build.
Enclosures & outdoor kitchens
Many Westlake lots in The Pines, The Woodlands and Estates back to a lake, and new-construction backyards are built for entertaining. A screen enclosure and outdoor kitchen turn that lake view into usable living space year round.
Pool financing options
HFS Financial offers loans up to $450,000 with terms from 1 to 30 years and fixed rates starting at 7.8%. A soft credit pull means checking your options will not affect your credit.

Coordinating with the City of Westlake
Westlake's Building Department requires a permit for pools and spas, pool barrier fences, screen enclosures and gas lines for a pool heater. As with many gated communities, homeowner associations in some Westlake neighborhoods may also require design review before construction begins. We coordinate both processes on your behalf.
Built to Florida Statute 515
Florida law requires a safety barrier around every residential pool. The barrier must stand at least four feet high, and any gate leading to the pool area must open away from the pool, close on its own and latch on its own. We build to this standard on every project.
New-construction lots to lakefront homesites
Westlake runs from standard new-construction lots in The Oaks and The Terraces to lakefront homesites in The Pines, The Woodlands and Estates. Each lot type carries its own design and engineering considerations, and we account for the property before construction starts.
Communities we serve across Westlake
Westlake is one of Palm Beach County's newest cities, incorporated in 2016, and Fountain Blue Pools builds and services pools across its Minto-built neighborhoods, including The Oaks, The Pines and The Woodlands.
Pool questions from Westlake homeowners.
How much does a pool cost in Westlake, FL?
Custom gunite pool projects in Westlake start at $38,665. Final cost depends on size, shape, depth, features and finish materials. New-construction lot size and any homeowner association design requirements can also affect design scope.
Do I need a permit to build a pool in Westlake?
Yes. The City of Westlake Building Department requires a permit for the pool itself, the required safety barrier fence, and any screen enclosure or gas line for a heater. Some homeowner associations in Westlake's gated neighborhoods may also require design review before the permit process begins. We handle the permit application and required inspections on your behalf.
How long does pool construction take in Westlake?
From day of dig to first swim, plan for 12 to 14 weeks. Design, any homeowner association review, and city permitting all happen before we break ground. A screen enclosure adds another 2 to 3 months.
Can I add a pool to my new Westlake home?
Yes. Westlake was incorporated in 2016 and most homes here are recent new construction, so many homeowners add a pool after closing rather than remodeling an old one. We design and build to fit the backyard your builder handed over, including lakefront lots in The Pines, The Woodlands and Estates.
